I'm not all that enthused about Hyperbole and a Half.
LOL @ Pam... if I had $20 for every time someone used that word with me... well....

I'd probably have like $60

I already disappointed her by likening her to Marigold from that other comic. Just another notch in mah tree trunk.

DUDE, what's your penis got to do with anything? We don't need to know about your notches. Dayumn.

My tree trunk is not my penis.

I first wrote "trunk", just as an expression, thinking "tree" in my head. Then I figured you'd all assume that meant my penis, so I threw in "tree trunk" and, well... I failed. You know how they say, "another notch in my sword" or "another feather in my cap" but that alludes to trying to achieve something, and I wasn't trying to annoy Pam. Tree trunk seemed more passive to me.

I imagined you carving another notch in a tree trunk.

To me it seems most of the world sees any vaguely rectangular/cylinder object as phallic.

There's something where a penis is referred to as a tree trunk...a song? A movie? I can't remember. I'll try.

When the world isn't revolving around money it's revolving around genitals.

I've always heard the terms "notch in your belt" and "notch in your dashboard/headboard"  I've never heard "notch in your tree trunk"
