Dino D-Day
« on: April 14, 2013, 06:13:34 AM »
I bought Dino D-Day forever ago. It's a class based FPS based in WWII, but with dinosaurs. It was on sale for like $5, so I couldn't not. Actually, it's a class based FPS based in WWII, but with dinosaurs, so I couldn't not.

When I got it, I didn't have great internet, and it's like TF2 (It's probably a TF2 mod.) in that it's always online. I could play with a bot, but it wasn't great. I logged on today just to try out my new graphics card.

Now, that's just good fun. The Allies are mostly made up of humans, but they have some smaller guys with guns mounted on their backs. The Axis is more dinosaur based, specifically carnivores. Some have guns mounted, some just shred and bite enemies. There's some game mechanic that awards the T-Rex to one player on the team. He's a giant with head mounted guns, a intimidating roar, and the ability to pick up and throw bombs with his mouth.

It's absolutely ridiculous, but great fun.
