Tonight I went out to the theater and saw some Shakespear with a difference. Basically it is a small cast and they get one of the actors shitfaced drunk and just expect them to perform. Throughout the night there are two bonus drinks that two people in the audience get to force upon the actor when they think they are getting to sober.

Tonight I saw Hamlet with a very drunk Ambrosia.

Who else watched it? I found it to be rather impressive, the footage actually has an 80s feel to it, the music builds a real sense of how dramatic the events were.

There were a few minor alterations in the "story" but given that they were compacting so much drama into 5 episodes and making it as compelling as they did, some changes had to be made.

Have been playing this off and on for months now, I am still confused about what I am meant to be doing and often forget that it is even installed on the computer.

Anyone else play it and know what is going on?

I'll likely bow to the inevitable, eventually. If only because Stewart's mug keeps staring at me from the top of my FireTV home screen.

TV / The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian is one of my favorite shows of the last couple of years. I love how straightforward it is. It's not overflowing with hundreds of characters. It's not trying to make profound moral points or lecture you on politics. No jumping around in time or space. Nobody is spouting yards of Whedonesque dialog. Just a simple story being told in increments by people who are clearly enjoying their jobs.

It's like watching TV from 30 years ago, if it was in HD and rather more polished.

Thoughts?

I guess I can leave the skin. Have to watch the cholesterol intake now I'm old. At least I think I do, it's hard to keep track.

It'd is completely different to all other Star Treks. It actually feels like how Stargate Universe felt compared to Stargate SG1 and Atlantis.
