Topic: Survival Challenge

My cousin is interested in trying out one of these survival challenge maps.

Basically they're engineered maps with a specific set up, challenges, and goals.

I can temporarily set the server to run one. Would anyone be interested? We'd have to organize a time that a group of us could be on at the same time again.

Yeah, I've seen quite a few of them on Youtube.  I'm up for it.  Weekend is probably the only time we can all find free time together?

I assume a weekend would be best, yeah. Maybe a Friday night for us/Saturday afternoon for you, or Saturday night/Sunday afternoon.

He picked one out and, being 13, asked me a few hours later if it was up. I had to explain to him that a lot more people play than him and me, and it would be pretty rude to everyone else and they logged on to find a completely different map.

Also, he's already played through the map he picked in creative mode, which seems like no fun. I'll probably just pick one at random.

I can have it up by then, no problem. I probably won't be around though. My Saturday is packed. I let the kid know though, so it'd be three.

You only have to inform people when you first move in. Once they sign off that they've been informed you're off the hook.

So, Dlane wanted us to do a challenge together, decided he couldn't wait for us, downloaded it and played through it himself in God mode, and now he's no longer interested in Minecraft.

Did I get that right?

That sounds about right. Now he wants us to set up a creative server, make an island, divide it into sections, each take a section, and build a city.

I haven't been on at all in well over a week. Real life has been a little intense lately. He's on summer vacation doing betting things with his time.

House hunting mostly. I'm going to Texas in a week to pick up this girl I like, but I don't have a place to move into yet. I'm 90% sure I've given myself ulcers over the stress. My boss also had a talk with me about my use of time at work. It can't be resolved soon enough.
