Pictures of my castle/fort

Ok, so i'll take a series of shots.
Keep in mind the place is still in development.

This shot is from the South Road facing North. You can see the Castle Proper in the distance with it's 4 spires, 2 of which are incomplete.

That is truly beautiful. That's some of the nicest Minecraft work I've seen. Your fountains reminded me of my own waterwork on the pillars at the temple. I really like the diagonal accents in your construction.
LOL @ Pam... if I had $20 for every time someone used that word with me... well....

I'd probably have like $60

Thankyou!

Getting diagonal things to look good is a challenge in this game.

Today's goal is to finish the spires. Then, on to other projects around the castle.

What are the red blocks in the centres of your spires? And is that Casa de Lanky in the bottom picture of the previous post?

they are panes of stained glass. They add a certain something.

And yes, that is casa de lanky.

The 4 spires surrounding the main tower are complete! woo!

And, the groundwork has started on a small village outside the castle, which will hide away and grow in the forest, which will eventually be walled in by a massive long wall.

My projects always escalate so damn quickly...

Haha, that's what happened with my temple in my mind before I even started. I just wanted a picturesque area in which to build something to enjoy the view, and then... mindsplosion.

I'll try joining the server again and not crashing it.

Nice. Did you enjoy your stay in castle gumstitch?

Did you check out the forest beyond the bridge? The first little house?

I didn't explore outside, but I ventured through a lot of Castle Gum. I gotta say, your design style is pretty damn nice. I like the bed settings, the open faced mid-section of the centre tower, the stained glass... well, I like it all. My FPS dropped suddenly at one point, and a few seconds later I heard a tonne of chickens and cows around me. I didn't realise just how many you had until I went outside!

I have a problem, though. I'm stuck in Creative mode, aka God mode, and I no longer seem to have access to change my own mode. I'll have to get Super to change me back to Survival mode when he's free. I also figured out how I crashed the server before. I was flying and it couldn't keep up, so it died.
