Post the game you're playing right now.
-
I just finished Shadow of the Colossus. I would highly recommend it.
Right now I'm playing Mega Man Anniversary Collection. I previously beat the first set of bosses on I and II, but not the whole game yet. Now I've jumped up to VIII. It's really fun to see how the game advanced but still retained a lot of the basics.
-
last game i played was Age of Empires 2. I can't get theexpansion working even though I have the CD loaded. Any suggestions?
-
I'm playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds (2003) on the Xbox. Is good. Has Spike and Faith, the two best characters the series gave us.
Lanky: Try a NoCD patch?
-
Technically I'm still playing Final Fantasy VII.
But I'm always still playing Final Fantasy VII. That game has put me half a decade behind everyone else. When I'm done, I plan to play Prince of Persia - the Two Thrones. Then Final Fantasy X. And some King of Fighters. That's how behind I am.
-
got a copy of the NoCD patch at all?

got a copy of the NoCD patch at all?
I think I do.. somewhere on the other pooter. But going to astalavista.box.sk is sure to bring results. I'll scrounge around for it anyway.
-
I WAS playing Assassin's Creed till my box decided to die on me..
Then I got Asterix at the Olympic Games for PC. It was cheap, I used to love the comics when i was younger. Pretty decent game :-)
-
Mario vs Sonic At Beijing Olympics on the DS Lite
-
On Friday night I was playing Tennis on a Wii at my boss's house. It was incredibly fun. Everyone was stoned and we really got into it. Like doing the footwork for playing shots and everything.
-
you got stoned with your boss?
-
Yes. We had an expensive company-paid dinner and then went to his place. I has connections again, w00t.
-
Well back to which game I am playing... and I'm thinking that I will cop some verbal abuse...
I'm playing World of Warcraft....still
-
i thought they would have ended that long ago....my old guild is gone from what my friend tells me. most either changed servers or stopped playing. *hint* *hint*
-
I still enjoy playing... Im onto my 3rd guild in as many years...
-
Last few days I have been playing Caesar IV...
-
but then my hand stopped working. It's still a bit funny.
(insert obvious masturbation/handjob joke here)
-
She's been having some trouble with her WHAMMY BAR
-
She's been having some trouble with her WHAMMY BAR
Props.
-
Guitar Hero 3 on Wii
-
and I've returned to Midtown Madness 3 on the xbox.
-
Ninja Gaiden 2.
Think of the 300 movie, only with Ninjas and demons, and you have NG2!
Fucking win!
-
Oblivion the Elder Scrolls. I started over and now I'm in Shivering Isles doing everything. I put a lot of stuff in Shadowmere, and then I installed the new expansion packs I had, and everything was lost. :P Start over collecting cool enchanted items. Fun stuff.
Also re-installed Painkiller: Gold Edition. Good stuff, a bit repetitive, but you have to have fun with how you kill them. Stake gun + haste = awesome.
I'm waiting for Fable 2, and other games not as important because I don't recall what they were.
-
I too still walk the fields of WoW. I know, some say its done, but I still find it reasonably enjoyable.
I'm looking around at other pieces of online crack however. EVE Online is great, but complicated and can be somewhat boring.
-
I am hanging out for Spore
-
*Digs up old topic*
I play FFXI. It's a bad habit, I know. And I haven't stopped playing Fallout 3 since I bought. Also started playing Last Remnant. It's pretty neat.
-
Oh, you'll fit in quite nicely with the WoWers here. Oh, wait, not only did it kill their social lives, it killed their virtual social lives as well and they don't come here anymore.
I looove Fallout 3.
-
I gave up WoW
-
Only game I'm playing is Painkiller for like one level, and then I'm bored with it again.
-
I found Spore a tad disappointing... Fable 2 is brilliant :-D
Currently playing... Guitar Hero Metallica and Prototype on Xbox 360.
When it comes out I will be playing Assassin's Creed 2...
-
I'm playing the Sims 3 on my new phone. It is much better than the limited version of Sims 3 that was on my old phone.
Shut up. It's all I've got.
-
I bought Little Big Planet for my fiance. Then I stole it to play for myself.
-
I know this sounds weird but sometimes when I pirate a game if I like it enough I will go out and buy the full version. Case in Point, the Diablo series. First got a pirated copy, fell in love, shelled out the cash, now I got some legal love.

Exactly the same with me, but I think it was also the online capability that gave the final push to purchase. Considering when I bought it I was still at school, it was a fair amount of money to me at the time. If only I could find my cd key :'(
-
I have two copies at home as Becco bought a copy too
-
I was considering starting it up again the other day, when I was discussing Diablo III with somebody. Then I realised that I'm a WoW whore, and also have a job now, and have also been playing too much AoE 3.
-
Oooooh I just finished Phantom Hourglass last week!
Been playing the newest Super Mario on DS as well. It's...Super Mario, there's not much more you can say.
Also, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, I recommend everyone go play that.

I just finished FFIV. Good stuff. Now I'm on Soma Bringer - I've now been getting into games NOT released here but people have COMPLETELY fan translated so it's like an awesome game noone knows about but you ROCK as you beat it.
PM me if you want details. I have a fighter with 300 characters from every anime, they cant release it here due to licensing.
-
Scribblenauts! Fantastic Little Game. Going to go play it now!
Currently waiting on the epic fail that Royal Mail (They are on strike, again) to deliver Risen. Risen is a Gothic (The PC Game not the architecture) style RPG.
Recently finished Batman: Arkum Asylum and Wolverine: Origins. Batman was great and Wolverine was better than the film. First time I have seen a film licence that was good let alone better than the film it is based on. I also am still playing Fallout 3 from time to time.
-
Playing Bloons Tower Defense 3 - http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/463445
-
that is one addictive game
-

Awesome. I have the Diablo Battle Chest. Let's play. Yes. Let's play.
I also have Starcraft, Warcraft II and Warcraft III.
Anyone? :]
I miss the good old RPGs... I'm playing Master of Magic and Chaos Overlords. Going to re-install Morrowind. Considering buying Oblivion... but The Elder Scrolls just aren't smart role-playing. Obvious stuff is missing. Like how your reputation doesn't seem to affect how people react to you?
Also, thinking of re-installing X: Beyond The Frontier... mmmm... games...
-
bumping so I can confess something almost as lame as Pokemon...
So I had one of my Youth Group kids over the other night and we took out Super Mario Galaxy (wii) which I hadn't played in like a year... and I've found myself re-immersed into actually caring about this stupid game. :fail:
-
I quite like that game myself, don't feel bad.
-
right on... well what adds slightly to the cool level of it all is that my kids literally LOVE to sit and watch me play. My 6-year-old says he is Bowser and my 4-year-old says he is Bowser Jr.... so they think they are fighting Daddy.
It's somewhat awesome actually.
-
Don't think I've ever met a Mario game I didn't like.
-
I still whip out Super Mario Bros on the Wii, it may have cost me roughly $10 to buy it but it was well worth it.
-
Don't think I've ever met a Mario game I didn't like.
Mario Party. Well, I didn't hate it. But I was a bit like "can we go back to Guitar Hero now?" so it didn't rate highly with me.
-
Which Mario Party?
-
The only time I LIKE Mario Party (and we currently have MP8 but I've had 5-8 over time) is when people are over at the house who aren't "video game people"... you know what I mean?
I have a strong disdain for typical board games - but I'll play Mario Party with a bunch of teenagers or adults at my house for HOURS and we usually end-up having a great time.
Take the "soda can shaking game" in MP8/Wii for example... how close can you get to a masturbation euphemism for the purpose of hilarity without actually going directly there with people whom you would otherwise NEVER go there? Seriously. Too funny.

Nice. *scribbles in private journal* Mario Party good for initiating sexual orgies.
I like board games but I almost never play. I like RISK and Scrabble and... Chess!

The geek is strong with this one... yeeeeessss
-
I only ever played 8 I think, if that one was for the cube. It got stolen before I could decide whether I liked it or not. :-\ It's probably for the best. I don't usually have enough people at the house to make use of multi-player.
Board games, eh? If you like your games to last FOREVER, try Runebound. It's super geeky and can require 2 days to complete. We've also got about a million Magic cards lurking around, as well as Zombies - the only table-top game that's mine.
-
Risk you say? Hades found an online version of Risk to play. It wasn't very much fun with just the two of us, but I think it'd be fine with a big group. I'll bug him tomorrow.

f00li5h is very good at that game.
-
I've never played Risk.
I want to play the Game of Life too.

I'm up for it!

Oh noes! :D Correction, I play the chess that came with Vista and I used to play Scrabble online. Do they count if you're not playing with physical boards? Just like masturbating to porn is the same as having a relationship, right?
-
I have lots of relationships.
-
I've never played Risk.
I want to play the Game of Life too.
Spider!
Come round to my house and you can play both!

I would like to file a complaint.
I posted here that I am CURRENTLY PLAYING cybernations.net, and someone "helpful" moved it. As it is the name of this thread, and NOT OFF TOPIC. I demand reps.

So? Just as sex can be in multiple threads, ditto this. And I AM PLAYING it, so it's current, no?

Well I'm glad you are making threads like a mormon makes babies, but when you start putting my thing where I don't want it, I feel thread-raped.

Sounds like Superman changed lanes without indicating again.
-
No, he changed his name.... to MoleStarGazer.
-
???
-
correction - instead of Super Mario Galaxy I am now playing Wii Resort which is like Wii Sports on 'roids...
it's cool because my 6-year-old can actually play. :)

Wii Sports on hemorrhoids? Dear GOD man.
-
It's like an added challenge.
-
I called you 'mole and you didn't even blink?
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
-
Lego Universe (closed beta)
-
Yeah, curious village is awesome. The sequel is good for puzzles, but the plot is kinda.... eh.
-
Star Ocean
Dissidia
And some Japanese one I can't remember the name of at the moment.
-
Dragon Quest 9
-
WoW and Freecell
-
Anal Rape Challenge.
-
Now that's a game I can get behind.
-
In Soviet Russia, Anal Rape Challenge gets behind YOU!
-
Just bumping one of LankDog's comments from earlier....
The Professor Layton series are really good.... The newest one which just came out is pretty awesome.. I'd suggest checking it out if you like puzzle solving :-D
-
So many games... I have something like 15 games from gog.com that I've bought and not yet played..
-
Curious Village is the best layton game, IMHO. The others are good.... but the original.... MAN!
-
I'm playing my fiddle.
-
Minecraft
-
I played the extensive demo. It's really, really good.
Since you brought us Minecraft, I now have to believe everything you say.
…yeah, this game is amazing in a simple way. Nothing to deep, but somehow..... it is.
Did you ever play Elite 2: Frontier? Famous old space game. Minecraft reminds me of this game—completely open-ended. You do whatever you feel like doing.
I think the aspect that seals the deal is the danger. If there weren't monsters out there; if you didn't have to seal yourself in a home or a tower or whatever you can imagine; if you didn't have to be careful about how you mine, I don't think it would be quite as interesting. Its simplicity is its beauty. It gives you tools, creates a world, and sets you free.
The more I discover, the happier I become with the game. I'm enjoying finding pumpkin fields and cascading waterfalls. I've caught a few glimpses of lava but it's not near my home.
-
Frankly, I stopped playing when I realized I was going outside less because Minecraft had everything I needed from the 'real world'
I'm almost two months sober from Minecraft, I'm going to get my blue chip at my MA (minecraft anon) group.
-
LOL. It's still just a game. Don't we all stop going outside for a short while once we find a game that draws us in?
-

"I can stop anytime I want"
sound familiar?
-
Of course. Except that I do actually stop to go out and get some fresh air and sunshine. I'm a rare breed.

Ah, the functional gameaholic. I've heard of you.
-
Shuffling. Xbox. Fable and Fatal Frame II.
-
Yesterday I tried Diablo 3, it was fun for an hour then wasn't fun anymore.
