It is pretty good so far. Will be better when it can run on Mac/Linux and Chrome. Right now it requires XP SP2/Vista and IE7/8, FF2/3

Meh.  It takes 2 seconds to open up FF.  I don't mind.

Anyone that pays twice as much for the same machine so they can get software restrictions and a picture of fruit on the front deserves to wait.
