Bioshock 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
« on: November 13, 2009, 01:13:08 AM »
Well something tell me this isn't going go down to well. Remember the hoops Australia made Fallout 3 jump through because it used morphine for a name of an in game drug? Silly Aussies. I'll bet the tabloids will have a field day with it.

The game? I might get it, I might not. I played the originial and while it was a reasonably good, entertaining game it was nowhere near as good as the hype made it out to be.

Awesome.

I never played the first either.  Well, a bit of the demo, but it was on a sub par machine so I didn't really get a feel for it.

I enjoyed the first one... The biggest issue the Aussie government had with Fallout 3 was that it was called morphine, a real world drug... Since this is called Eve it should be ok... but who knows with the government...

Are you serious? When the fuck are we ever going to get an adult rating for games?

Who do I need to kill around here for that?  Is it Stephen Conroy?  Do I kill Conroy?  Because I'm already going to kill Conroy anyway for his attack on the internets, so if this is a case of two birds one mallet, let me know.

Just kill him anyways... Saves us a lot of potential trouble in the future...

I enjoyed Bioshock... The Big Daddys were annoyingly hard to kill when I first encountered them, but that got easier when I figured out what hurt them most...

2nd one sounds quite interesting actually... Might check it out one day ha ha.....
I just lost the game....

Might just have to purchase it from a US-based online store

I only played about 1/4th of Bioshock. Maybe if I go back and replay it I'd be more excited about the next game. However, this is very cool.

(I feel like I've posted that link here before. Maybe not.)

Steam was selling Bioshock for really cheap last winter so I finally picked it up.  I forgot to post here until I was just now digging through old posts.

...not that impressed.  I guess I like the super power thing, the story is okay, and I get what they were trying to do with the cut scene information without making you go through a cut scene.  I just never got into it.  I think I understand what they were going for, but it kind of just turns into really short FPS battles with really long gaps between each fight.
