Are skeletons and zombies supposed to not catch fire in the sun anymore? I'm going back to using a bed.

LOL.  Lanky was telling me about it.  On one hand I think, "I am not looking forward to this."  But on the other hand... realism!

I had completely forgotten about this.  I was out and about at night, saw some zombies and decided to return to my mountain shack.  I thought I was clever by closing the door.

Holy shit, indeed!  That sound scared the crap out of me.  It was obviously designed to disorientate the player.  I was disorientated.

I think that at higher difficulties, they actually break the doors down.

Oh, you mean they don't break the doors down?  Somehow one of the zombies got inside while the other was still outside banging.  I can only assume there was some lag and I shut the door after one had followed me in.

It's not as scary if they can't break the doors down.

I'd be up for that if I wasn't so far away from your server.  I wouldn't want to risk explosion due to lag.

In 1.4 hostile mobs will randomly spawn with the ability to pick up dropped items, and will equip them automatically. So if a zombie takes down your buddy, and walks over the corpse to get to you, he may suddenly be equipped with your buddy's diamond armor and sword.
